Do 1800 calories per day sound too much for weight loss?

1200 calories sounds a bit light to me, im 6' 200lb man so we have different nutritional needs but it takes 3500 calories a day to maintain my body weight. I would imagine with proper exercise and diet that 2000 calories would be close to what you need. And just my 2 cents, women's bodies change a lot from their early teens to their twenties so unless you have an excess of weight i wouldn't worry about losing to much.
