I bought new yamaha fz16 two days back and every time i stop the bike a smell comes from the engine .?

no leakage though . the bike has just travelled 80kms and i didn't exceed the speed of 40 kph. i asked yamaha mechanic about this , he said that this smell is coming because of POWDER COATING and will go after some time . i m worried.. plz help...
