I have a cat that sheds hair constantly? Any solutions?

Some cats shed more than others. My Torti (RIP) shed a lot more than my garden variety short hair. My Torti somewhere in her gene pool had some Burmese in her (quite a few of Burmese traits were obvious in her stature and that very fine undercoat.) Daily brushing will help along with vacuuming more often will help. Also, I notice that the diet is mainly fish, not a good diet. High protein such as chicken and turkey are far better for cats. A good quality canned food with meat being the first ingredient is a better choice. To much fish is not good for casts.
