Is videogame designing a good career?

I strongly recommend not getting into the video gaming industry unless you are absolutely sure about it and have no other interests. It is an extremely tough collegiate program, and very difficult to get a job in. The reason it sounds appealing is because you are 14 and probably play video games a lot. Take your normal cles and a few advanced ones in high school and if you still feel strongly about video game design during your junior year do a little more research and see if thats what you think would interest you and something you want to do for the next 40 years. When choosing a career path, realize, it has to keep you interested until you are old enough to retire, are you going to like designing video games when you are pushing 50 years old?
